Change Your Fears: Françoise Hontoy

In 2012 Françoise initiated Hontoy Communication, a company dedicated to enabling change and fostering development. She is a certified Process Communication Coach and Trainer. Prior to this, she worked as an IT specialist for multinational businesses with 20 years of experience in project and change management for teams. As JCI Luxembourg National President she launched the contest Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg. She continues to volunteer within Junior Chamber International (JCI) in Luxembourg and throughout the world providing numerous training hours. What is there in courage that makes us thrive to achieve our dreams? And why might we let them go? In this talk, Françoise describes how dreams, fears and courage connect and explores in her own story how courage needs fears. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

  1. Roger says:

I still see plenty of sites (including those of social media marketing agencies) using the old Twitter “T” logo. It’s even worse when they have Tumblr (also a T) in the mix! Thanks for the handy graphic on what’s current, very helpful!

  2. Dreams and courage story of being and becoming. This is a thrilling testimony. Sometimes reminiscent of Laurie Anderson story telling Françoise Hontoy’s voice and tone convey a powerful message and story.
    Five star stuff !
